Leading Edge is thrilled and proud to welcome five outstanding leaders onto its board of directors as of January 2022. They are:

• Rabbi Marc Baker, President & CEO of Combined Jewish Philanthropies (Boston)
• Mimi Kravetz, Chief People Officer at Twin Health
• Darin McKeever, President & CEO, William Davidson Foundation
• Wendy Platt Newberger, Director of Jewish and Israel Giving, Crown Family Philanthropies
• Yolanda Savage-Narva, Director of Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (REDI), Union for Reform Judaism

All five of these leaders have demonstrated the capacity to drive dynamic change in the Jewish nonprofit sector. They also exemplify the core values and interests of Leading Edge in their work: prioritizing people and culture as the most important work of leadership. They join the 16-member board of Leading Edge at a time of growth for the organization, which is expanding its team and programs. 

Leading Edge board also wishes a deeply grateful farewell to five board members whose terms finished at the end of 2021: Rabbi B. Elka Abrahamson (President, The Wexner Foundation), Phyllis Cook (Managing Director, Helen Diller Family Foundation), Marty Linsky (Faculty, Harvard Kennedy School), Rachel Garbow Monroe (President & CEO, The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, who had been a non-voting board member of Leading Edge), and Jacob Solomon (President & CEO, Greater Miami Jewish Federation). The vision, wisdom, insights, and guidance of these departing board members have helped shape Leading Edge into the organization it is today.
