Sammy Angelina

Sammy Angelina is Associate, Operations at Leading Edge where she supports the day-to-day and cross-functional operations that power Leading Edge's work. She brings a strong eye for logistics, systems, and process to help translate organizational priorities into action.

Prior to joining Leading Edge, Sammy worked at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism and the Union for Reform Judaism, where she supported national programs and large-scale events serving communities across North America. In that role, she focused on improving operational systems, streamlining logistics, and building tools to enhance cross-team coordination and accountability. She also served as a Legislative Assistant, gaining experience in federal and state policy work, representing the organization in meetings with Congressional offices and tracking legislation across a range of issue areas. 

Sammy holds a Bachelor of Science in Community & Nonprofit Leadership and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She lives in Washington, D.C. and outside of work, you can find her watching women’s sports, cooking, running, and knitting.
