Originally offered as a JPro affinity group, and now continued at Leading Edge, Non-Jewish Professionals in Jewish Nonprofits is a community of learning, pride, and connection for the many non-Jewish professionals who enrich and strengthen the Jewish communal field.

What does this community offer?
The Non-Jewish Professionals Community offers interactive and engaged virtual sessions, typically 5-6 per year, for non-Jewish professionals to come together as peers, network, and participate in custom learning opportunities. Past sessions have included deep dives into Jewish holidays, traditions, and history, peer networking, and education on antisemitism and allyship, among other topics.
Sessions are intentionally varied in content and structure to best meet the diverse needs of the non-Jewish professional community, from those new to the field to those who have worked in the Jewish community for decades. Our community is always peer-led by a non-Jewish community professional (Jewish speakers and educators may be invited as guest presenters).
How do I join?
Events in this community are open to any non-Jewish professional working in the Jewish nonprofit sector. After registering for any session, you’ll be included in future communications about upcoming events for this community. Individuals are welcome to attend any sessions meet their needs and interests, with no ongoing commitment.
Is there any cost?
At this time, there is no fee to participate in sessions for the Non-Jewish Professionals Community.
Are community sessions recorded?
To protect the privacy of our community members and the confidentiality of discussions, we do not record our community sessions nor allow any AI notetakers into our virtual space. If you require any accommodations in order to participate, please contact members@leadingedge.org.
